A few months ago I painted a large portion of a bedroom wall with chalkboard paint. I've recently grown tired of the large black rectangle and want it gone. Sometime within the next few months, I plan to paint my bedroom. I should be able to cover up the color with a good primer, but I'm afraid it will stick out because its three coats are rather thick. That is why I want to know if it can be removed, so I won't constantly be reminded of the chalkboard that once was.Is there a way to remove chalkboard paint from a bedroom wall?
Chalkboard paint are generally oil based. You can remove paint by using a cotton swab dampened with mineral spirits if the drip is freshly painted one and if it is dry then sanding it.
