What color should i paint my accent wall?

my walls are linin white, my furnitue is black, grey and tan. any ideas would be great!!!What color should i paint my accent wall?
It depends on the STATEMENT you want it to make, and how bold YOU are. I would probably go maroon, or a rich, rich red.

That would go so well with your black, gray, and tan.

Then add accents with small/medium (not huge) splashes of the maroon or rich red in vases, flowers, lamps, throws, pillows, etc. But, don't over-do with the accent color. If you find yourself wanting to go overboard with the accent color, add some items that are your original colors with trim in the accent color, or black, gray, tan, and maroon or rich red plaid, in pillows, etc. If the room is large, think in terms of several of the accessories being your wall accent color, then adding more accessories (just a few) in a third color that's complimentary to the wall color. Like: if you do wall in rich maroon, the third color could be dusty mauve, or even soft terra cotta. Or get brave and sassy with a bright goldish-orangeish YELLOW.

In my opinion though, you can hardly go wrong with a deep rich red or maroon for the wall color. Especially maroon. It is a timeless classic, and it is elegant, yet simple. It spans most all styles, from contemporary, to French country, to romantic Victorian; classic, casual, office/library, to your formal dining room, and more.

Whatever color you do your accent wall, of course you will be imagining ahead of time what it will look like. ALSO imagine that color in some of your accent/accessory pieces.

Balance the accessory pieces throughout the room - that's what will make the room really look PUT TOGETHER - WELL PUT TOGETHER.

Have fun!

P. S. With maroon or rich, rich red, be prepared to apply at least 2 good coats, maybe even more. What color should i paint my accent wall?
A peanut butter color would be a good choice. It would brighten the room, but it wouldn't jump out at you.A real deep burgundy would also go well with the colors that you now have.As long as it suits you and it is not gaudy, go for it.
the colors of your furniture are dark and with the white walls, your furniture stick out. So paint your accent wall red, or medium green to bring the dark furniture to gather. Also, if you have doors that can be painted then paint the doors with a Ivory white color this would make the room flow to gather.
stix to earth tones they go good with black tan and grey
