Whats stronger then sticky tack but wont pull the paint off the wall?

I have some cardboard matted pictures, and sticky tack wont hold them on the wall, but when I used those square sticky things that you get at Hobby Lobby or Wal-Mart, it pulled the paint off the wall. What else can I use?Whats stronger then sticky tack but wont pull the paint off the wall?
T pins. You can generally just push them in the wall and they hold 35-50lbs. When you remove pin just run finger over hole and it seals itself because the hole is so small. They work great. You mught have to put something on back of pictures to hang on pin.Whats stronger then sticky tack but wont pull the paint off the wall?
3M Command Strips
You can try using a combination of adhesives and thumb tacs. Rather than sticking adhesives to the wall, push a thumb tack through adhesive leaving backing on and then sticking to object/frame/artwork you wish to hang. Line up and push into wall. It won't rip paint off the wall at time of removal, and holes are so small that you can rub (plain white) toothpaste over them to cover them up.
I used this stuff that they use on Pro panel Roofs which is tin roofs, but i used it on my cinder-block walls in a dormitory it worked pretty good. Its worth a shot i think ,u can find it @ any hardware store like true value etc...
I have mirror tiles on my wall, and I stuck them up with adhesive rectangles, maybe thats the same thing as you tried, but if you pull it off very slowly (you'll need some patience) it shoudln't pull the paint off the wall. If not, try some regular old packing tape, but still, you need to pull them off slowly, because almost anything adhesive will pull paint off the wall if done too quickly.
