How long does it take for 2 people to paint a 40 meter squared wall?

I'm planning to paint my room in around 2 and a half to three days. is that possible with a room of 40 meters squared?How long does it take for 2 people to paint a 40 meter squared wall?

Yes that is very doable. Make sure you use painters tape to prevent accidents. Have dropcloths. Use rollers with brushes for trim.

It should be doable. The longest part of the painting process is prep time and waiting for previous paint layers to dry. Before you start painting, tape everything off with blue painters tape. What kind of paint are you painting over? If it is a dark color, you may want to use a white primer to cut down on the number of layers of regular paint you will need to use. It will also help the new layers of paint to adhere to the wall. Otherwise, you want to take some sandpaper and ';rough up'; the current layer of paint a bit.





Are there cracks in the wall? If so, think about using DAP DryDex. It goes on pink and will turn white when dry. Then take a lighter grade sandpaper and smooth it out. This sanding of the spackling is very important to ensure a nice smooth look to the wall without noticable bumps.





It is these prep stages that take up the most time, the painting shouldn't be too bad after you cut the corners, especially if you are using rollers.
