2 simple questions about dry-wall repair and painting?

Here are the questions that correspond to the pictures with the same letters.





A- i had a hole here, so i filled it with compound, do i paint over it or do i need to prime it first? Also, how many coats of the same paint do i need for just this area?





F- I am going to fill this hole with dry-wall compound, on the edges the paint layer is flappy, shud i remove all those flaps before filling it with compound?

A - Just prime and paint. After priming that spot, it won't need any more paint than the rest of the wall.





F - Yes, remove those flaps. A pro would use a carbide scraper, but common folk don't have these, so just be careful with a common scraper, sandpaper.2 simple questions about dry-wall repair and painting?
Fill it like the one you have filled.......looks like you have an orange peel texture.........if so buy a can and spray it lightly to match.......then paint twice.......and yes if you have anything loose take it all off..........and get to something solid........good luck
