How can i stop paint from chipping on my wall?

I notice that every since I started ironing by the wall the paint is chipping badly. What can I do to fix it?How can i stop paint from chipping on my wall?

Sand the wall down where it's chipping. Apply a coat of primer, then top coat. Stop ironing near the wall.
