Paint suggestions for wall with view window?

What color should I paint my living room wall which has a big ocean-view window. The floor is white tile and the couches are off-white. Also. the tables are dark mahogany. Currently, all walls are white. Should I pick a dark or light color to paint for the wall with view windows. Some people have told us that view windows should be always light colors. so i am confused. please help.

(note : the view i see: some part of ocean and some part of green trees)Paint suggestions for wall with view window?
play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family %26amp; color name, the ';painted'; rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think it would look great if you paint the whole room a light shade like ';tea light'; (# 7681). It will warm up the room, + set off the colors of the beach beyond. If you've got your heart set on an accent wall, then I would paint it slightly darker, like ';stonebriar'; (# 7693) or ';relic bronze'; (# 6132).

You can also take a photo of your room %26amp; upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions %26amp; they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.Paint suggestions for wall with view window?
I'd go with a light color because whne the light hits your walls it will seem to glow. You could try a soft yellow or some sort of cream color.
i think either color scheme would work..

Lights: yellows, tans,

Darks: blues, grays
