How can I safely remove bird poop off of the wall without ruining the paint?

I have the easiest way to get bird poop of of everything is using one of the little hand help steamers you can buy at drug stores. There a lots of different brands and if you catch a sale you can get one for 25.00. They are a must for any bird owner! How can I safely remove bird poop off of the wall without ruining the paint?
Soapy water with a sponge or rag... First your going to want to try and get off as much as you can with a dry coarse towel. Then keep the wall wet and let it soak about 10 min. Use the sponge first then the washcloth and scrub the hard spots.

yes, poop-off is the way to go. when i dont have that on hand, windex followed by a hot soapy sponge. im not too sure about the windex on all paints tho i am not knowledged in the ways of paint. try it on a little patch somewhere first?
Theres this thing called poop-off, you can buy it at many pet stores, including petco, and you just squirt some on, and rub it with the brush that comes with your purchse, and that pretty much does it
want to know how to remove bird poop from the walls, clip the birds wings carefully viola no more bird poop on the walls.... and its safer for the bird too.
You could try a special dropping spray at a pet store. It's called poop off and it dissolves the dropping.
Poop off works great is non-toxic to use around the birds as well.
the cheap way is hot soapy water let it soak and it will come off I used gloves and it came off ok
hot water and some soap and a little bit of elbow grease!
Try a high pressure hose.

  1. Hardened bird poop is like concrete. The simplest way to get it off anything is to first soak it with a spray bottle of vinegar. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Then take a handheld steamer (you can get one for about $20) in one hand and a soapy rag in the other. Hit the poop with steam for a couple of seconds then wipe it right off. No scrubbing required. Safe for painted walls and even delicate fabrics. Easy peasy.
