What's the best inexpensive (interior) wall paint?

Glidden. It's sold by The Home Depot %26amp; it's about $20 per gallon. What's the best inexpensive (interior) wall paint?
Any of the standard brands at home improvement stores (like Behr at Home Depot). Lowe's and Dixieline actually stock Valspar, which is a pretty good paint. It's a little more expensive. But, it covers better than the really cheap stuff. And, the best paint to get is at the specialty paint stores (Sherwin Williams, Dunn Edwards, Frazee, etc.).

Basically, the more you pay for paint, the less you use, because the better paints cover better. You then have to use less for each coat and you need less coats or touch-ups. So, if a gallon of crappy paint costs $25 a gallon while a gallon of good paint costs $40, but you use half as much of the good stuff (only one coat, for example, as opposed to two coats for the cheap stuff), then the more expensive paint is actually more cost effective. What's the best inexpensive (interior) wall paint?
inexpensive is relevant to what? longevity, cleanability...or just cheap to buy... a cheap paint will make more work and not cover as well as something in a little higher price bracket.

get a mid grade eggshell (sheen, not color) acrylic wall paint from any local paint store will do the trick but paint is no longer five dollars a can, expect to pay something like 20 or so dollars a gallon.
Another CHEAP alternative is to look for ';OOPS'; paint .All stores make mistakes when mixing. Some of the best paint stores will sell oops for $5.00 a gallon. Really wise to do, unless you're REALLY fussy.
