How difficult is it to paint stripes on a wall?

We want to paint a game room in our team colors with the majority of the walls navy blue, a wide light gray strip wrapping around the entire room in the middle and then two red pinstripes of red near the top and bottom of the gray strip. How difficult is this to do? We've got plenty of experience taping off and painting rooms , but never ventured outside of one solid color...How difficult is it to paint stripes on a wall?
A good trick to get a perfect line without having to ';touch up'; - Tape off the area you will be painting: If you are starting with a white wall this is the trick.... or whatever colors actually doesn't have to be white....paint the edges of the tape where you will be painting the same color as your wall right now. After its done drying then paint the color you desire now. What this does is fill in the little air bubbles that you will get from the edge of the tape. Once you fill them in with the same color you have on the wall now, there wont be any mess or glitches in your perfect line your are making now. Just a tip! :) works every time (Make sure paint is completely dry before pulling off the tape - I would even wait until the next day to do it) :)How difficult is it to paint stripes on a wall?
that room sound like it has a cool design you are thinking up. stripes are not that hard if you at least no how to paint well the hard part about painting stripes is that its hard to get them even one may be fatter than the other and stuff like that. Why don't you instead of painting stripes trying to make them look perfect together why don't you make it so there not perfect do one fat on skinny one Ziggy Zagges so it looks cool there stripes but they don't have to be perfect and they don't have to match up but it looks like there all different for a reason. If that's not how you want to do it then try stencils or rulers to make them even that all so works. It would help if you told us were you lived because then i could tell you some panting company oh and one more thing stencils would make the room so much fun with like your team name and everything and there so easy to make with just a piece of cardboard. i hope i helped
paint the gray first. if you want a two foot stripe going around the room...';paint 3 foot of gray. ( let the gray dry for 24 hours). now mask off the two foot of gray with BLUE painters tape, leaving the gray paint about 6 inches over and under the two foot masked off area. Now on the edges of the masked off gray! paint your red...';if you want a stripe of two inchs of red, just get a small roller, and paint the red. make sure when you paint the red you over lap on to the masked off area. Dont be afraid to paint the tape...';it's covered!. now go about five inches up with the red from the masked off area, (let the red dry for 24 hours). now use the masked off gray as a guide to mask the red off two inches. when your done masking the red off...go ahead and paint your walls navy blue. dont be afaid to paint over the masked area. When the blue sets up, peal the masking tape off, and your done! you have to use the blue painting tape, regular masking tape will peal paint. and when you use the blue painters tape to mask off the gray and red...use a plastic putty knife and (press the edges of the tape tightly!) so the other colors you use wont seep under. and good painting
Tape off the areas where you want the stripe and paint that area between the tape the color you want...try it first on something besides the walls till you get what you want..
