Which wall of a rectangular bedroom should be painted the accent wall?

The room is, as said in the question, rectangular.


11'8'; x 9'8';


With one window on one of the longer walls. The other longer wall has a closet and the door.





I was thinking of painting a red accent wall. Would white be an okay color to go on the other walls?


(I have beddings that are dark pink, light pink, orange, white and green)

red might not be the best colour to go with.. my bedding is pink, orange, green, and turquoise blue. So maybe you could paint you accent wall turquoise blue, cause it goes really nice with those colours.

I would chose the wall you see/face when you enter the room.


I wouldn't go with red considering your bedding- maybe choose a colour from the bedding and go down a couple of tones of that instead.
