One gallon of paint covers an area of 25.0m虏. What is the thickness of the paint on the wall?

Its for my physics class. Im just a bit confused on how im supposed to find this without the mass.One gallon of paint covers an area of 25.0m虏. What is the thickness of the paint on the wall?
thats a tough question.

lets recognize that we are trying to find the volume of a rectangle essentially.

it is 5m L x 5m W x t H, where t=thickness of paint

so we have 25t = volume

your volume can be converted by changing 1 gallon to liters

the conversion is 1 gallon = 3.78541 liters

we also know that 1L = .001m^3, so 3.79L = .00378541 m^3

so we now have

25t = 3.79 x 10^-3

t = 1.514 x 10^-4 meters

t = .1514mm

Hope this helps!
