How do i successfully remove wallpaper border without taking the paint off the wall?

I am moving out of an apartment and really need to get this stuff off. I don't wanna strip the paint off though. Any ideas? How do i successfully remove wallpaper border without taking the paint off the wall?
Liquid fabric softener mixed with water in a spray bottle.

If you're lucky it will just peel off. The water and fabric softener gets rid of the remainder of the glue on the wall. I used just plain warm water on a sponge and soaked mine off. It really depends on the paper, the adhesive and how long it's been hanging. Good Luck! How do i successfully remove wallpaper border without taking the paint off the wall?
Take hot water poor it on mix the water with bleach first and then peel it off poor the water+bleach in the cracks of the wall paper and let soak for 10 minutes that should work.
Try just plain vinegar. I applied it with a sponge and used a putty knife to scrape it off. I didn't put any dents in the walls or scrape the paint. Hope I helped!
